Well these past few days have flown by because we have been busy!! Anthony's sister Emily from Texas got in late Friday night. We all got up early on Sat. and went to Peyton's 1st Birthday party! That was lots of fun because not only did we get to see family, but we also got to see Anthony's best freind from growing up, and his wife and their adorable baby!! Their baby, Phillip, is 7 months old and he is SO CUTE!! It was fun to introduce Levi to Phillip, even though Levi was in a bit of a bad mood during the party. So that was fun....and then that night we came home and watched the Final 4. Those were pretty crappy games though.
Then on Sunday, it was beautiful weather outside so we enjoyed the outdoors! Emily came back Sunday evening and we had a big dinner together and she spent the night again before leaving on Monday to fly home. Monday night we watched the Championship game and were so glad that Kansas made an unbelievable comeback and won!
Then today, we had Levi's 4 month check up. The booger just keeps growing!! He is now 28 in. long (110 percentile for his age) and he is almost 19 lbs (97 percentile)!! No wonder my back is killing me:) He also got his shots today and he was a trooper! He cried right away but then was great afterwards! We're hoping that he will respond like last time and sleep well tonight!
Another exciting milestone is that we are starting him on solids! We fed him a bit of rice cereal today and it was so funny!! He wallered (is that even a word?) the stuff around in his mouth and I think maybe only swallowed a few bites!! But our dr. said if he does well, we can start him on baby food in a few weeks...I can't beleive how fast he is growing up!!!!
Anthony's out mowing the yard today...its so green and tall, it definitely needed it. We have grilled out the past few nights and are planning on it again tonight! I love this warm weather:)
