We spent the past week in Buckeye country...also known at this time, "the heart of the election battleground". We did SO MUCH on our trip and if I were to write everything we did while up there, it would take me all night....so I will just give some highlights!
We visited Fulton Farms with my brother's family and my mom. The kids got pumpkins and we attempted some pictures!

Later that same day, we had a bonfire and hayrides with my mom's side of the family. We love getting together with them, and despite the cold weather, we had a great time! Levi especially loved the hayride...even sitting with Uncle Doug! The guys played football, we roasted hotdogs (well, I should say Uncle Dana and Uncle Doug roasted the hotdogs) and the kids played on the big dirt pile...until glass was found on it!

Levi and my Uncle Doug!

Look at the beautiful countryside!

Me and Sarah (my brother's beautiful wife) and our "babies"!

Some of the guys warming up by the fire. That's my brother Tom on the right.

This is one of my nephews, Reese, holding hands with my cousins girl, Madison! How cute!
It wouldn't be a Cron get together, without lots of food! Yum Yum!
On Monday, we visited Cedarville. We got to tour the new Bible Center, thanks Coach Fagan! We attempted to go to Chapel and were able to sing one song. Then Levi decided it was play time! We got to talk with Dr. Brown (president of Cedarville) afterwards though and see some freinds who are still around. We ate lunch at Chuck's and hung around long enough to see our basketball teams begin practice. It was a blast to be back on campus and push Levi around. Here's a picture of the Bible Center.

Here's the view from the new Bible center looking over part of the lake.

We took Levi into the gym and let him crawl around and play with the basketballs. Coach Estepp said he'd just go ahead and get Levi to sign a letter of intent to play!

As if all this wasn't enough, we had yet another great adventure! On Thursday, Sarah Palin came to town!! It's actually quite the story, but I'll give the short version! We got to Hobart Arena in Troy around 10 am. The rally started at noon, but many people were lining up outside waiting to get in around 7 am. We couldn't do that with Levi. Anyway, so we were pretty much some of the last people to arrive and to get through the doors. However, at the front entrance a woman met us and asked us if we would like VIP seats and be on the National News. Anthony and I looked at each other wondered what the catch was. After finding out there was no catch, we followed the girl who took us to front row seats right beside the stage. Come to find out, the people around us had been in line since 7 am to get their seats! (It really pays to have a baby with you at these things!) So we thought that was pretty cool...little did we know, it would only get better!

I tried to get a picture of the entire arena before it all got packed!
Before the rally began, country music star, Tracey Lawrence came out on stage and performed 4 songs! He sang a few of his hits and then a song about Jesus!!! I don't know this for sure, but I'm guessing that you wouldn't hear a singer sing about Jesus at an Obama rally! So that was really neat too!

Levi was great during the rally!! It honestly surprised me just how well he did. He cried pretty much the whole wait outside, but once we got inside and he heard the band and saw the lights and the signs, he was great!

In his 11 months of life, Levi has already seen more politcal figures than my parents have!
And then Sarah Palin and her husband and 2 of her daughters came out! It was AWESOME!

Her 2 daughters signing autographs with pink pens!! So cute!
Afterwards was the best part. We took Levi down to the stage. Sarah and her husband and kids signed autographs and took pictures with some people and even though we couldn't get close enough to get either of those, it is such a nice thing have a 6'7" husband who can lift a child high into the air. We were about 4 rows back and Anthony did just that to Levi. Sarah look at us, waved to Anthony and me, and grabbed her husband, Todd's arm and pointed to Levi (who was hoisted way high in the air) and said, "Look at that cute baby!"!!!!! We couldn't beleive it!! It was incredible and we will never forget that!

Levi got to go on his first Combine ride! Thanks Joe and Uncle Doug!
Another highlight of our trip was having a get together with our freinds from school. Jason, Jane, Eric, Lauren and JJ (we missed you Sarah). I forgot to take a picture....but we had a blast with you guys! We wish we lived closer and could hang out more often!
Anthony and I got to have a date night while up in Ohio as well. We saw the movie FIREPROOF, which is an amazing movie...we both agreed it's one of our favorites of all time. And then we ate out afterwards! Thanks Grandma for watching Levi for us!

Football Saturday's are always fun in Ohio. Even though the Bucks lost to Penn State, it was still a great game. At least it was better than UK getting killed by Florida by like 50 points. We even wore our UK gear to support them...guess it didn't help!
Other fun things about being in Ohio are Cornhole and the pretty sunsets. Levi loves cornhole!

We did so much more than this on our trip and I have lots of pictures of Levi doing funny things and with Grandma and Grandpa...I'll put all the pictures of facebook later so if you want to see more, just go there! Grandma did teach Levi to say the word BALL and he is getting so close to walking now! We can't wait for our next trip back to Ohio....it won't be long!!!!
