I wanna be like you Dad!

A few days ago "the boys" decided to mow the front lawn.....it reminded me of the song by Rodney Atkins called "Watching You"....

He said, "I’ve been watching you, dad ain’t that cool?

I’m your buckaroo, I wanna be like you.

And eat all my food and grow as tall as you are.

We got cowboy boots and camo pants

Yeah, we’re just alike, hey, ain’t we dad?

I want to do everything you do.

So I’ve been watching you."

going through the "tunnel"!

picking out a pumpkin! he would say OOOO, HEAVY!

Stay tuned: last night we went trunk or treating at our church.....pictures to come soon!

Boyd Orchards

Last week we visited Boyd Orchards in Versailles. It was a perfect day with beautiful weather! We only anticipated staying for a little while, but by the end of the day we spent about 4 hours there including lunch! Here's some of what we did...part 1.....more pictures to come!

He started out on the little slide...

...and loved it!

Then somehow ended up doing the BIG slide!

...more than a few times...

...and loved it even more!

We were so excited because Levi got to do all of the fun things for free since he's under 2! There was a petting zoo, hayrides and more...pictures to come tomorrow!

Some new pictures...

Just checking in.....I had a dr. appt today and we got to hear the heartbeat again. I think this baby's heartbeat is a lot slower than Levi's always was. Girl maybe?!??! Also, I have been eating nothing but sweets with this baby....Levi was always salty! So all of you hoping for a girl....I thought I'd let you know! I'm still doing much better. My nights are still rough, and I still go to bed around 8:30 or so....but during the day, I am able to do much more than I was even a week ago. I think in the last week, I've only puked twice...and that is something considering what I've been through! Here's some pictures from our last week or so.

One of our bestest freinds from Cedarville was in town last week, Craig! He just got married this summer and is a missionary in Portugal. He and his wife currently live in New Jersey, but Craig was in town helping a friend move back to Jersery. It was AWESOME seeing him. It has been about 4 years since we saw him last!

My fall decorations on the mantel...random, I know.

I don't know why we still put Levi in his high chair to eat...he is too big and has broken it many times. Here he is trying to "fix it".

He got to eat lunch out in the garage one day and thought that was pretty cool. Some days I just don't feel like arguing with the child!

Riding the bike!

The day it rained and we told him he couldn't go outside, he simply told us "GET UMBRELLA!" How can one resist?

He wouldn't let anyone help him...

...as you can see, one side ended up broken....

a few short minutes after this, you could find him convulsing on the garage floor because we took the umbrella away from him.

Grandpa came last week and delivered Levi's big boy bed and this table that he made! It is incredible! Thanks Papa! Levi's taking a nap right now, so I don't have any pictures yet of his big boy bed, but I will try and get them up soon!

Till next time....

I am alive!!!!

So you may have noticed I haven't blogged for about a month or so now.....this baby has made me unbeleivably sick!!! It's worse this time than it was with Levi. I can't thank all my family and freinds enough for their help and prayers!! There are so many people praying for me and my family and I appreciate it so much! I haven't puked for 2 days now and I am closing in on the 12 week mark. I started getting better around this week with Levi, so I'm hoping I will do the same this time. I shipped back the dumb pump I was on last week and told them to keep it...it didn't really help me. I still have dag-gone welts from where the needles went into my skin. I passed out one time from sticking myself with the needle....I had enough of that. Anyway..enough about that....I do have a few more beach entries to catch up on which I will, but for now, I thought I would share this story with you.
We were supposed to go to my parents this past weekend for our annual October get together with the family including my brothers family from Michigan and to celebrate birthdays. We didn't get to make it this year, but instead we had something else big happen.
Saturday morning around 5:30, I was awakened to a knock-knock-knocking sound. At first it scared me...it has been raining out so I thought maybe it was something loose on the house...so I woke up Anthony. He casually said...ah, its nothing and got up to go pee. After he was done, he started hearing the noise too, so he opened our bedroom door to go check it out. When he did, in sprinted Levi holding his bunny, "Bennan", his blankie and sucking on his puppy (paci). He ran up to his daddy and informed him that he had "BONK, HEAD" "BONK, HEAD" Yes, he figured out how to get out of his crib and apparently he had hit his bead at some point!!!!!!!!! I instantly realized that this was the last peaceful night we may have in a while. And to make it even worse, I really can't get up out of bed at night because if I do, I start to feel nauseated.
He did it again the next night and came running over to our room. This time he didn't have anything in his hands and he explained to daddy, "LOSE PUPPY, GET IT" He couldn't find his paci and wanted Anthony to go get it. So we are currently transistioning him over to a big boy bed. We started last night...the stories are just beginning....! My mom is bringing a twin bed down this Thursday for Levi, but for now, we have just put his crib matress on the ground with a rail on the side. Let's just say that for his first night, I think he did great...Anthony may argue with me...but he's the guy who thought you can put a child in a new bed with out any problems at all. But Anthony is also the one who had to get up with him last night, so I really have no room to talk! Once we get Levi's new bed up, I'll post some pictures. As for now, he enjoys using it as a trampoline during the day! We have some work to do! ;)
I took some pictures of Levi last night outside with our fall decorations.
