Anthony's trip to the Final 4!

(I started this post a few days before Colt was born, and just now have been able to finish it up!) I will soon get some pictures up of baby Colt!

I'm a little behind on getting this post up...I should make Anthony write about it, since he was the one that got to go...but I will highlight some of the things that they did and saw!

Anthony and his brother-in-law Caleb who went with him. Thanks to Anthony's dad who helped out with getting the tickets. Anthony's dad is a WVU grad :)

Levi was all pumped for the big games too!

The outside of Lucas Oil Stadium, home of the Indianapolis Colts.

Before heading inside, Anthony and Caleb hung around outside and saw some famous coaches and media people! Here's OSU coach Thad Matta!

Anthony with Clark Kellogg.

Tennessee Coach Bruce Pearl.

Inside the stadium.

Nick Lache and....

...his brother Drew Lache!

Dicky V Baby!

Our favorite coach...Coach Cal!!! :)

The CBS crew! If you look at the TV screen, this was when I was watching at home, and I actually saw Anthony and Caleb in the far far distance!

During a time-out. WVU went on to lose the game, but at least they lost to the eventual champions, Duke.

The WVU mountaineer mascot is Anthony's first cousin!!! How funny is that?!

Even though WVU lost, Anthony said he had an experience of a life-time. I am so happy that he was able to go and have a wonderful time! We have lots more pictures, but if I posted them all, this post would be a mile long!! See Anthony's facebook page if you want to see more!

Some new pictures...

As we head down the home stretch to when Colt comes, we have tried to take advantage of the days we have left with just Levi. We know life will change once Colt is here, so we have been packing lots of stuff into these last few weeks. Here's some pictures of Anthony's last days off...

On Saturday, we rented a tiller and doubled the size of our garden. The picture is how big our garden was last year...I'll have to take some new pictures once we get things planted. Levi wanted to help so badly, so we gave him a shovel and let him play in the dirt. He actually did end up picking up some rocks and putting them in a while which helped. We don't plan on planting anything until May, but at least the dirt is all tilled up from the winter.

We had many nice days of playing outside!

Standing in front of daddy's cruiser. Anthony has inspections today, so he spent a long time making sure it was very clean and detailed. Levi always wants to help out with this too.

Pretty sure this was taken before the car was clean. But if you ask me, the thing looks clean all the time!

Before heading out to church on Sunday. On Sunday, we planted (when I say we, I really mean Anthony) our flower garden along the back fence. I'll try and get some pictures on here of that here soon too.

My 2 boys....soon to be 3 boys!

...and here is me and the 3rd boy!

On Monday, we did more yard work and Levi enjoyed swinging around back...

he loves his swing!

...and this time when I say "we" did yardwork, I really mean it!! Anthony thinks its hilarious that a 9 month pregnant woman can still mow a yard!

Bye-bye Puppy!

We have officially given up the "puppy"!!!! No, not a dog...but Levi's pacifier!!! Wooooo :) If you don't know Levi that well, then you don't realize just how big of an accomplishment this is. He LOVES his "puppy" and wanted it every time he went to bed, took a nap, was sick or upset. So about a week ago Anthony decided it was enough. It honestly hasn't been too hard of a transition for Levi. He has asked for it a few times, but we just tell him that big boys don't use "puppies" and he seems to buy it! He is very proud of himself and often tells us now that he is a big boy and he doesnt need his "puppy" anymore...he's just like daddy! We'll see what he thinks though when Colt's here and he has a"puppy"

In Levi's Easter basket this year, he got some bath-tub crayons. The other night, I left the bathroom for a few minutes to only come back to this sight!!!! He was exploring his creative side!

Last week Anthony and Levi went down to feed the horses some carrots. Only the horses didn't come that night and Levi was upset! After a while though, Levi decided to eat the carrots himself and apparently that made life good again.

We've all been under the weather these past few days or so. Levi started Wed. with the pukes, then I got it Thursday, then we ended up in the ER with Anthony on Saturday. None of us have much of an appetite, which for me, is s struggle because if my stomach gets empty, I feel nauseated because of my pregnancy. It's not fun having a stomach bug on top of being pregnant. Hopefully we will all get over it soon. Anthony works tonight (Sunday), has tomorrow off and then goes back to work for 4 more days. His days off are changing to the weekends now, so I'm looking forward to that.

Baby Colt countdown- 3 weeks and counting!!!

Happy Easter!

Since Anthony went to the Final 4 yesterday in Indianapolis, we celebrated Easter morning with Levi before he left for the games. I wanted Levi to be able to have new things to play with since Anthony would be gone all day and because Anthony would need to sleep in late today since he is working tonight. So we did our little Easter basket stuff yesterday. Here's some pictures of our morning :)

He found Colt's and his Easter buckets in the bathroom! (Yes, I am using buckets instead of baskets....Easter baskets- you can only use them once a year....I figured I could get lots more use out of the rubber buckets)

Levi finally got his blue Lightening McQueen he's been asking for, for over 2 months now, and he was very excited about it!

Colt's Easter goodies :) We named the duck, Denny (Levi has Benny the bunny) so now we have Benny and Denny ;)

He got the CARS movie and he has watched it twice already! Levi's also sportin' his new UK hat :)

Thrilled to be able to eat a sucker for breakfast!

Anthony and Levi this morning before church!

We hope you all had a wonderful Easter :)

Stay tuned- my next post will include pictures of Anthony's trip to the Final 4!!!!

Easter Egg Hunt!

Yesterday Ms. Sharon had her big Easter Egg hunt. This year there were around 15 kids in all ranging from ages 2 to 9. Ms. Sharon and Mr. Carl are wonderful neighbors and Levi loves them like a Grandma and Grandpa. We are so blessed to have them as our neighbors! She babysits her 6 grandkids and has about 10 others that she watches through-out the week....add that to our family, and a few other neighbor kids and we had one big Easter egg hunt that covered the yards of 3 houses, including ours.

The kids had a picnic before the egg hunt.

P

laying in the backyard while the other adults hid the eggs.

Levi and Kaden jumping on the trampoline.

Waiting patiently...

Theres one daddy!

Got another one!!

A whole bucket full!

Opening all the goodies back at home!

I have more pictures of our fun day, including the other kids...I will post those on my facebook page soon! :)
