Singing in the Rain!

These pictures were obviously taken a few weeks ago...we haven't had that much rain since then! The rain actually crept up on us. We had taken a walk around the block with the boys and about half way around we noticed the sky getting black in the distance. By the time we got to our cul-de-sac, the sky above us was that early yellow color! Some of our freinds had stopped by and we were out in the road chatting with them when it started to rain huge drops. We quickly said goodbye and by the time we made it to our garage, we were pretty wet! So I got the idea to go out and play in it! There was no lightening, so I thought Levi would enjoy the adventure! And did he ever! :)

One of the things that attracted Anthony and me together was that we really enjoy the simple things in life. We hope that we are able to pass that on to our children...and playing out in the rain is just one of those things! After the storm passed, we were treated to one of God's promises- a beautiful rainbow that filled the sky!
