Yesterday, Anthony's sister Joanna and her baby Peyton came to visit!! Well, Peyton isnt really a baby anymore....he turns 1 year old in April! Levi was somewhat interested in Peyton, but overall not really. Although, for the first time ever, Levi actually giggled!!! I put him on him belly and Peyton came up to him and rubbed his head. I guess that Levi thought that was hilaious, because he honestly did laugh!!! I'm hoping that Levi will start to do that more because it was so cute!! It was fun to have Jo and Peyton here, and we look forward to them being play bugs when they get older! :)

3 or 6 months???

Well, as of yesterday, Levi is now 12 weeks old. So you would think that he would be wearing 3 month outfits right?? WRONG. The boy is wearing pretty much 6 months stuff!! Here he is in an outfit that Grandma and Grandpa Gheen got him for Christmas!!!

My New Swing!!!

Well, my mommy and daddy got some money gifts for me over these past few weeks, so last night they went to my favorite store, BabiesRUs, and bought me this cool new swing!!!! I love it so much because it can swing me frontways, backways AND sideways!!! Cool huh?? It also has neat music and nature sounds!! But my favorite is the mirror and the flying bumblebees that swarm above my head!!! Mommy and Daddy said I was a little bit annoying last night though because I screamed on the whole car ride home from Lexington. I couldn't help it, I was just excited to get in my new swing!!!

Sweeper Nights

I thought the child grew out of this, but obviously not. It's 12:10 in the morning and my vacum cleaner is running in Levi's room. We havent had to resort to this for about 3 weeks now, but for some unknown reason tonight he decides that its play and fuss time when its really supposed to be bedtime. I think it's because during what was supposed to be naptime at the grocery store with mom, Levi thought it would be a better idea to stay awake and coo and smile at every person who walked by. Sure, it was cute at the time, but know we are all paying for it!!!!

I know everyone says to enjoy these days while they are young because they go so fast, but boy am I sure looking forward to the day we can just put him to bed without his miracle blanket, binky, classical music and the shaking of the crib. It should NOT be this hard to get a child to go to sleep!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here's a picture of Levi and me. This is the sort of smile he put on at the grocery store making everyone think he is the cutest thing ever. I wish those people at the store could come to my house now and see how not cute it is to have a baby who WONT GO TO BED!!!!!!!!!!!

My first attempt at a blog!

Well, at the request of Grandma Gheen, we are now trying to become bloggers!!!! These ramblings will hopefully be a fun way to keep family and freinds updated about our lives and of course, Levi's life. His is definitely more interesting than our own, but in turn because of him, our own lives have become much more exciting! We'll let ya know what's going on down here in Kentucky and keep you updated on our sanity levels!
