Our Christmas!

We all must have been good this year, because Santa did make a stop at our house! And we even have the half eaten cookie leftover and empty glass to prove it! As my mother always told me....Santa couldn't eat all of the cookies we left for him because he has many more houses to stop at and more cookies to eat! ;) I love the magic of Christmas!

Here's our tree Christmas morning....well...not early morning, but I think we finally got around to the gift opening at about 9:30 (Anthony worked the night before!)

Levi got a sled for Christmas...although so far, Anthony has enjoyed it more than Levi! I think Levi has more fun on it inside simply pretending to sled down a hill!

He also got a police car! He loves any type of car or truck that he can push and say "vroom vroom"!

This gift was sort of an inside joke...they are playskool balls. We had some before and we would always lose them (I mean Levi would always lose them) and we always racked our brains trying to figure out where he hid them. We would find them in the trash-can, the paper shredder, the laundry basket ect. So we got him some more and I'm sure it won't take long too long to lose track of a few of them!

This is after opening all the gifts. Levi has his eyes glued to his new book! He LOVES reading!

The big gift that we gave Levi was his basketball hoop! He's getting ready to dunk the ball in this picture! He enjoys shooting (dunking) hoops with us and we love playing with him!

We had a wonderful Christmas this year :)

Christmas Eve!

Here's some pictures I got tonight of Levi....I told him that if he went to bed and slept all night long, that Santa would bring him presents! He seemed pretty excited when I told him!

Of course, we had to set out milk and cookies for Santa!!

SNOW DAY!!!

For once the weathermen were right around here!! haha! Usually they call for snow, and then we never get it! But last night and this morning we did! About 4 inches I think. All the schools were canceled around here and it was an official SNOW DAY!!! We did our best to enjoy it while it was here, because they are calling for rain tonight and warmer temps starting tomorrow I think. Anthony attempted to go sledding with Levi, but it didn't work out so well. I have some funny video clips that I will try and get on here later. But for now, here are some pictures from today!

At the bottom of our hill. This is the one time that it is nice to have a huge hill in your backyard!

Me and Levi out front...he enjoyed walking in the snow more than anything else!

I love this picture of these two. Father and son walking hand in hand.....

Levi is getting cold at this point, so we went back inside right after this!

3rd Best Day of my Life!!!

If someone was to ask me what the best day of my life was, I would obviously say that my wedding day and the day Levi ws born are my top 2. After that, the race would be close as I have had some very memorable moments in my lifetime so far. However, after today, I have a clear 3rd place winner! Today was the 3rd best day of my life and let me tell you why!
Anthony and I went to our first UK basketball game today. It was part of our Christmas gifts to each other and possibly one of the best gifts we have ever given each other! We have lived here for 3 years now and have just now started to get into UK sports. We love the coach and the players now (we werent too fond of either a few years ago) so we get real into the games. So before the game we walked down to the floor and chit chatted with one of the security gaurds and he informed me that after the game some of the players and Coach G would come out to sign autographs. So we were set on doing that..in the meanwhile, the team came running out right beside us. So I slapped hands with Patrick Patterson and told him good luck for the game. As if that wasn't cool enough...at that point my night had already been made! But little did I know the best was yet to come!
I could go on and on and on...but I will let the pictures do the talking. Thanks Grandma for watching Levi for us!

Me and Anthony after the game! UK beat Indiana!

Coach G walking to do an interview after the game. Unfortunately tonight he couldn't stay for pictures or autographs because he had a flight to catch for recruiting...maybe next year I will get a picture!

Me and our most favorite player ever, P Pat!!! He also signed our "3" sign and wrote "To Levi" on it! Just for the record, this guy was pre-season 1st team All-American!

Me and Darius Miller..last years Kentucky Mr. Basketball! At this point, Anthony was getting really embarrassed!! :) hahaha I loved it!

Us back at home with our signed "3"
For more pictures, check out my facebook page..I met more players, got more autographs and got more pictures!!! hahahaha :)

1 Year Check-up

Today was a busy day. It started off with a trip to the doctor's office. Levi had his 1 year check-up today! He is still off the charts in height (go figure) and close to the top in weight (I think it was 97%). Thank goodness his head is proportionate to the rest of his body as well or else that'd be pretty funny. He got 3 shots today and he had a VERY hard time. The nurse even joked about how many people it took to hold Levi down. It literally took me, Anthony and her holding Levi to the table and even then he was still very very hard to control!! Not fun at all. He was glad to get out of there! Then we stopped at the store on the way home to pick up a few things and once home, we found ourselves doing more stuff...including Anthony and Levi raking the leaves. Well, really it was just Anthony...but Levi liked playing with the rake! Heres some pictures of it and then afterwards, we walked down to the park.

Catch me daddy..here I come!

Am I in trouble??? Is this what jail is like???

Ohio Birthday Party pictures

We had the big Thanksgiving dinner first and then after, we celebrated Levi's party. It worked out nice to be able to celebrate both at the same time. Most of the family made it, but not everyone. We had a great time, and honestly I think Levi could have cared less about his cake and gifts...all he wanted to do was play with his cousins! It was really cute:) Thanks everybody for Levi's gifts...he got all kinds of fun things...toys, books and clothes!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO LEVI!!!

Today Levi turns 1!!!! Wow!!! It was a pretty good day today, except that Levi is getting another tooth so he has been hurtin' a bit today. What a way to spend your first birthday..getting a stinkin' tooth! Oh-well...I still think he enjoyed his day! His party with my side of the family was this past Saturday and this coming Saturday we are having one with some of Anthony's family here at our house. I have lots of pictures from our trip up to Ohio this past weekend and week, but I will have to post them tomorrow. It's 8:30 and I am tired! Here's one that I took this morning after he opened his gifts from us! I guess he was pretty happy with his new toys!

We love you Levi! Love, your mommy and daddy!

P.S. I just found out that you can view pictures of Levi and of us that were taken back in October. I didn't realize they were on here until now. Enjoy!

Happy Turkey Day!

Anthony had to work today, so we made the best of it! Anthony's mom came down last night and we stayed up fixing a big meal for today. I bailed out around 10, but she stayed up late working on her masterpiece :) We woke up this morning to the smell of turkey cooking in my oven!! That's never happened in this house before, so that was special! We had our big Thanksgiving meal this afternoon before Anthony left for work. The weather was so nice outside so Levi, Nana and I all went for a walk down to the park.

I think tomorrow I am going to go Black Friday shopping, but I'm not going at 4 a.m.! Anthony is going to watch Levi for me so that way I can get in and get out....people are crazy and Black Friday is the only day that having a cute baby won't get you any extra perks! We'll see how it goes.

Levi loved the turkey, green bean casserole and the chocolate cheesecake the best! I can't remember if I wrote on here or not that a few nights ago he ate an entire coneydog!!! And that was just part of his meal....I think he also had macaroni, green beans and applesauce...no joke, I think his plate was just as full as mine was. Man....if anyone ever needs gift ideas for me, how about a gift card to the grocery store! haha!!

THANKS!!!!

Thanks everyone for your comments and letting me know that there's people reading this!! That was the most comments I've ever gotten, geesh!!! :)

Anthony snapped this picture of Levi today..he loves the fridge and if he knew how, I'm sure he'd take the lids off of everything and go to town eating everything in sight! Thank goodness he hasn't figured that out yet! He is walking all over the place. He still loves his walker and has become dangerous with that thing. I'm serious when I say, you better get out of his way when he comes through, or he WILL run you over!!! It makes me laugh so hard when he does this. His favorite is when we take his clothes off right before his bath time and he runs and laughs all over the place...it's a hoot! We are getting ready for Thanksgiving and then for Levi's 1st Birthday. It's been fun to shop for him, but I have to set limits or else I would buy everything in the store!

These past few days have been super busy...we have been decorating for Christmas...we have done a little shopping....and Anthony got our Griswold house decorated with all the lights and has once again added more this year. Okay, you know that you have a lot of lights when you can't turn on your living room lamp and the TV at the same time or else you will blow a fuse! Ridiculous isn't it??!??

I better get going....Levi just fell asleep so it's time for me to go get some more things done! Here's a few more pictures...Levi loves the Christmas tree!!!

Hello?????

Does anyone ever read this?!?!?! hahahha....I check back on to see if there are any comments and there's none. I guess our lives are boring...maybe I should start making up stuff....like really fun and exciting things then I would have something fun to write about!!! Until that happens...I'm gonna keep on decorating my house for Christmas and listen to my Christmas music!! :) Oh yes, and maybe get ready for my little boy to turn one in 2 weeks! AHHHHHH!!!!!

Feliz NaviDAD!

Levi and I went today to do some Christmas shopping. It's a fairly normal thing for him to talk, scream, yell, kick, laugh or whatever else while riding in his carseat. So today I didn't think too much of it when he was yelling Dad, Dadda, Daaaaaaa, Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad, Dadddddddddaaaaaaaaaaa in the backseat. However, once I realized that the song on the radio was that Spanish Christmas song, Feliz Navidad, I understood that Levi thought someone was singing about his Dad!!!!

Our First UK Football game!

Anthony and I went to our first UK Football game this past Saturday and it was AWESOME!!! They played #14 (I think) Georgia and it was as good of a game you could ask for....except for the fact UK lost in the last minute. Thanks Grandma Gheen for coming all the way from Ohio to watch Levi and thanks to Ken and Amanda for the awesome seats!! We sat in the endzone which was really cool :)

It's been chilly out these past few days and all 3 of us have had colds...so we bundled up and went outside yesterday evening! It was great to get out of the house!
