Boys Dedication!

On Sunday, August 1st, we had both boys dedicated at our church..Midway Baptist Church. Because we currently do not have a pastor, our friend Cody, who is the education minister at the church, did the dedication for the boys! He did a fantastic job :)

Levi and Colt before heading to Church.

Getting up in front of the church!

Cody walked with Colt and I walked around with Levi. It was precious....as Cody walked so that the congregation could see the boys, he talked to both Colt and Levi, saying "Look around...these are the people who will be your teachers....the people who will pray for you....the people who will support you and help you with your walk with the Lord..the people who will encourage you...the people who will be there for not only you, but your parents also" and so on!

Scripture reading and pledging to raise our children the way God wants us to!

Colt recieved a "Tiny Testiment" and Levi got a Big boy Bible!

Our family afterwards with Cody!

After church, Levi got to play the "banjo" with Mr. Blake!

He was really getting into it...strumming and tapping his foot and bending his knees!

Levi hasn't stopped talking about playing with Mr. Blake!

Outside of our church!

Our family :)

One more time!

We have been blessed to find such a wonderful church family for the past 5 years and it was a special day to have our children dedicated there :)

"He described statutes for Jacob and established the law in Israel, which he commanded our forefathers to teach their children, so the next generation would know them, even the children yet to be born, and they in turn would tell their children. Then they would put their trust in God and would not forget his deeds but would keep his commands." -Psalm 78:5-7

Leaving Ohio!

I guess I better wrap up our trip to Ohio. We woke up on Wednesday morning, packed and left for home! We had a wonderful trip to my parents...Colt got to meet a lot of my family members and he got to meet his Aunt Emily and Uncle Ben! We don't know when the next trip to Ohio will be, but hopefully it won't be too long!

One last picture with Grandma!

Stay tuned- The boys were dedicated at our church this morning, so I will blog some pictures about that next!

3 Boys in the Bed!

These pictures remind me of the song.....5 Bears in the bed and the little one said....ROLL OVER, I'M TIRED...so they all rolled over and one fell out 4 bears in the bed and the little one said....

This is a typical morning in the Delimpo household!

On the mornings I go shopping or go running, I literally throw Colt in bed with Anthony and Levi climbs in and they have their "guy time" in bed!

These 2 rule the house, so they may as well have the master bedroom!

Tuesday in Ohio!

So on Tuesday we finally found out from our doctor that Levi had some kind of bacterial infection in his intestines. Dr. Taylor said she had never seen this kind before and that it wasn't a real common kind! She told us there were only a few ways Levi could have gotten it....very spoiled milk (no), raw chicken (no) or cow or horse manure.....uh, yea, we think that was it! A few days before Levi got sick he was out in the horse fields with Anthony walking around looking for a good spot to shoot off fireworks. I'm guessing he may have stepped in some horse poop and it got on his shoes and then later he took his shoes off, got it on his hand which he transfered somehow to his face? That or else he sat out in the field and ate himself a big cow pattie! Thank goodness by this day, Levi's fevers were gone and he was pretty much done complaining about his stomach hurting! I hope we never have to go through that again!

Our Tuesday was pretty layed back and very enjoyable. Mom stayed home from bible school that night and we played outside, rode bikes...went to the secret path in the corn field, and had some great games of corn-hole!

Stay tuned- I have a few more pictures of our trip to Ohio and then we said goodbye on Wednesday!

Monday in Ohio

On Monday, Anthony woke up and starting work on tearing down the deck. So Mom, me and the boys went into town to the library and ran some errands. We didn't do much the rest of the day, however we got a call from our doctor's office with Levi's test results...we played phone tag for a while and ended up waiting until the next morning to figure it all out...stay tuned!

This is the house where I grew up!

My mom always has pretty flowers!

Anthony hard at work on the deck!

He was a machine! Levi loved helping out too...it was the kind of project we didn't have to worry about him messing anything up...so Anthony just let him beat the wood with a hammer and he thought it was the neatest thing ever!

By the time my dad got home from work, Anthony only had a few boards left..so they finished up together! Can't wait to see the new deck soon!

Mom went back up to church for vacation bible school Monday night and to be honest, I can't remember what we did the rest of that day and night! My Aunt Becky and Uncle David came one night to visit and my Aunt Jody and cousin David came another night to visit...but I'm getting my days mixed up now and can't remember who came when!

Stay tuned...Tuesday is y next blog...our last full day in Ohio and at last we find out what was wrong with Levi!

Happy 3 month to Colt!!!!

Today Colt is 3 months old!!! I took some pictures of him today...I had him in his diaper with the baseball bat and the bear because that's what I did with Levi...I can't wait to compare the two boys and see their similarities and differences at 3 months of age!

He is starting to really develop his personality. The boy loves to sleep, unlike his brother...but isn't a big fan of eating, unlike his brother! It's funny how different I can already tell each child is from the other! He sleeps about 12 hours straight at night which is a huge blessing! He nurses really well, but it doesn't take much to fill his little belly up...Levi was NEVER like that!!

Currently, Colt is obsessed with his left fist. He sticks it out right in front of his face and sometimes stares at it so hard and long that his eyes will start to cross! Funny!! He also is starting to kick more in the bathtub...he has always loved his baths, but now he is really enjoying them! I still put his little tub on the kitchen counter to bathe him, but I may have to start putting it in the big tub so that he doesn't get my countertops and kitchen floor all soaked!

Anthony jokes that Colt is already a mamma's boy and that's because whenever I leave and Anthony has both boys, Colt is really fussy and cries a lot. He loves to be held and cuddled with and I usually do that when I'm with him, so when he doesn't get that attention, he cries!!
Colt is starting to get into the Baby Einstien videos a little bit, however Levi LOVES them! I put one in the other day, and it was for 3 month olds...Levi never moved a muscle and every day since then he has asked to watch it! It's a nice thing to have on these hot days when we can't go outside and play a lot. I actually just found a lady on craigslist who is selling a bunch of the DVD's for an unbeleivable cheap price, so I'm hoping to get those soon!
Colt is also starting to really enjoy his play and activity mat. I will lay him on his back and he has starting to bat at and hit the little fish that hang down. Only issue with that is that I cannot leave his side because it doesn't take long for big brother to come over and decide to rip off the jingle bell ball and start kicking it through the arches like he's playing soccer! I learned that lesson the first day I got the mat out. I stepped away for a few seconds and heard GOOOOOOOOOOAL from the living room followed by WAHHHHHHHH!!!! I'll leave it to you to figure out who said what!!!
And with any photo shoot I try to attempt, it would not be complete without bubby joining the fun!
