Fast asleep

Okay, obviously Anthony didn't fall asleep with Levi's paci in his mouth, but after Levi fell asleep it was a great chance for a funny photo!! We just couldnt' resist!

Well, football season has officially begun. The first rankings are out and practice has begun. The Buckeyes are in the Coaches Poll Top 10 for another year and we are gettin' excited...Levi included! I must admit though..our household isn't just Buckeye Country, but Mountaineer and Wildcat Country as well. We will be cheering once again for all 3 teams!

Levi is already practicing up on the Heisman Move! He still has a little work to do!

Sweet Deal!

So everyone out there knows that amazing feeling you get when you get an unbelievable deal right?! Well, to start you, you must first also realize that ever since Anthony and I moved into our house (aboout 3 years ago) I have been searching for a TV armoire. It has always gone on my wish list, just waiting for the time when we had a little extra cash. And then it always came off the wish list because something else more important always came up. Then we got pregnant with Levi and I really started looking because I knew that his sticky fingers would be all over our TV. So.....long story short...a few days ago I found this one online for sale here in Lexington. The woman was only asking 25 bucks for it!!!!! What a steal!! So yesterday we went to pick it up and she informed me that about 100 people had emailed her about it, but we were the ones to get it! Actually a few other people were supposed to have picked it up already, but it fell through. The woman's mother had passed away and she was basically just trying to get rid of her stuff, not worrying about making a lot of money. I simply couldn't believe it! I know God cares about the little things like this and He gave us a gift for being patient all these years!

8 Month Birthday!

Today Levi turned 8 months old!! WOW! It's funny...just this morning, Anthony and I were having a discussion about when Levi will be able to understand the word "no". I think he already knows it.....tonight in the bathtub, once again, Levi was up to his normal mischevious self and was trying to stand up. Everytime, I would say "no," he would look at me, grin and go "hehehehehe". I couldn't help but laugh. Every time I said it, he would giggle. So he's gotta know! Please pray for my parenting skills...hahaha....I don't want to be a pushover and laugh when I should be stern! I guess Levi and I both (and Anthony) will all learn together.

I gave Levi a Saltine Cracker today...I think he liked it! He was very curious of it at first, but then it didn't take long for him to figure out he liked it.

Found a New Toy!

This is the sound that Anthony and I have been listening to ALL morning long!!! Levi has finally discovered how to pronouce the "D" sound! He still says momma alot, especially when he's tired, not feeling well or hurt, go figure! But today he is enjoying his new vocabulary. He is also saying his G's...so he's doing the gaa ga gaa ga stuff...very cute!
