We survived the weekend!!

Never again will I ever say that our livs are boring!!! Just when I said that, Levi goes and gets sick on us!!! Anthony's dad and grandma were on their way here on Friday, when Levi got sick. He had a fever and wouldn't eat so we took him to the after hours ER to get checked out. Poor guy had an ear infection, thus our adventure of a sick baby began!! As they say, when you have a sick baby, no one sleeps!! Levi was up almost every hour that night!! He's starting to get better though now.

We did manage to have a good time with Anthony's dad and grandma here. Actually we were able to go on lots of walks...the weather was perfect...and we even got to see some very cool things.

On Saturday we were walking to the park when all of a sudden we saw a helicopter circling above our heads. It did it for about 5 min and then landed in the park!!! It was so cool!!

So we were all trying to figure out what was going on and why a helicopter landed in the park, so we walked down and saw a couple photographers get out and walk towards downtown Midway. So we followed them!!! Once we got to town, we saw a bunch of cars and people gathered around and this steam engine is what we saw!! We found out that it is making a tour across Kentucky and that Midway was one of it's stops! It was SO COOL and VERY loud!! Levi didn't seem to mind the sound of the steam going off, but when the conductor sounded the horn, MAN....that really scared him...as it did me too!! So that was our adventure of the afternoon.

Then that evening we went for another walk and got to see our neighbors parot who talks. However the bird used to live with a family who had an infant, so the bird talks baby talk. Levi definitley got along with the bird as he was starting to feel a little better and started jabbering at her! The bird was beautiful however I don't have any pictures. They live just down the street so its funny sometimes I will walk outside and here this voice going, "momma, momma, momma and its the parot talking to her owner!!

It was a good trip with Anthony's dad and grandma, however we wish that Levi hadn't been sick. I'm praying that Levi will start sleeping better now. His cough is almost gone and his fever's are gone...now he just has a stuffy nose..which still makes it a little hard to eat, but he's doing better. That was the thing that made me know Levi must have been really sick, was that he wasn't eating well, haha!!

Now, its Memorial Day and Anthony is back at work. Today he helped the neighbors put the steps into their pool. We took Levi over and dipped his toes in and he LOVED it!!! We can't wait to take him swimming this summer!
