My boys!

The other night we were watching the Miss USA pagent when the evening gown part came on. I said to Levi," OOOO buddy, aren't those girls pretty" to which he responded, "Yes Mommy- just like you!!!!" AWWWWWWW.....he melted my heart that night :) Here's a few pictures of our boys!

I know they don't look much alike, but I promise they are brothers! :)

Levi has been really into praise and worship music lately! His favorites are Michael W. Smith's "Above All" which he calls "Like a rose", Amy Grant's "Thy Word" and Mark Shultz's "Love Has Come" which he calls "Hallelujah". It's really neat to see him sing the words to these songs and to hear him say that he loves Jesus. Even if he doesn't quite understand it all just yet, it's still a precious thing to hear your child sing about God :)

Levi's New Ride!

Dear Nana-
Thank you SO MUCH for my new F150 truck!
Love, Levi

Here's my dad putting my truck together. Him and mommy stayed up past 11 at night putting it together for me. They had to wait till I went to sleep to get it out because I guess I like to get into everything and would have made it really hard on them! Then the truck had to charge for 18 hours, so I had to wait the whole next day until after my nap till I could ride it! I thought I was going to die!!!!

But boy, was it worth the wait!!!

Not only is a F150 Ford Pick-up truck, with a real radio, cupholders and a tailgate that really works- but it's a Harley Davidson truck!! Me and dad think that's awesome, but my mom wasn't too excited about it being a Harley! I think it will grow on her though!

I have the bestest daddy in the world!

Here I am driving with my best freind and first co-pilot ever in my new truck, Kaden!

Our mom's say to watch out for us in about 14 years when we are driving real cars!

Thanks again Nana for my new ride! I absolutely love it :)

5 year Anniversary!

Holy Cow- where have the years gone?!?! I have a feeling I will be saying that for the rest of my life! 5 years ago today Anthony and I were married in Troy, Ohio at 4:30 in the afternoon! At that point in my life, it was the greatest day in my life :) (the birth of Levi and Colt now are up there at the top too!) I remembered that it was a rainy but warm day, and the rain did stop in time for the wedding and for us to get some outside pictures taken afterwards. It was an awesome wedding and reception with all of our freinds and family...we couldn't have asked for more!

Anthony got me 2 dozen colorful roses for our anniversary and we are going to go out for ice-cream to celebrate sometime this weekend! We did our annual watching of our wedding video that our freind Craig made for us. This year while watching, we had the pleasure of a 2 1/2 year old giving us commentary during the whole thing! Levi would say "Mommy...you and daddy are getting married!" or "Mommy-you're walking down the aisle!" It's amazing to think that 5 years ago, we had no idea we'd be watching our wedding with our 2 boys! What a blessing!
I thank God for the last 5 years of my life that He has given me to share with my best freind and I pray that He gives us many many more to come!

Happy Mother's Day!

So this morning, I awoke to Anthony and Levi bringing me breakfast in bed! The funniest part was when I was finished, I got up to get ready for church and Levi decided it was his turn to have breakfast in bed. He got under the covers, put a pillow on his lap and ate his bowl of oatmeal and watched cartoons in our bed...I wish I would have taken a picture because it was a funny sight to see!

We made it to church this morning! With Levi, I think he was 2 months old before we ever made it to church, but with Colt..he was only 2 weeks old when we took him today! It was extra special because not only did our church honor mothers today, but they also had a rose on the alter in honor of Colt! They do this whenever a baby is born, and we just so happened to be there on the Sunday they honored him! The bulletin had a few sentences about the rose being there in honor of Colt, so I thought it was pretty cool that it happened on Mother's Day!

After we got home and ate lunch, Anthony took me to Wilson's Nursery and had me pick out a hanging basket for Mother's Day!

Here's a few pictures of the boys!

Yesterday we got our first taste of real Levi jealousy and wanting to get our attention. I was nursing Colt and Anthony was busy doing something in the kitchen when Levi came up to me and his hands were covered in what I at first thought was mud. I quickly realized there is no mud in the house, but that it was POOP!!! I instantly asked him what it was and he calmly said, "Mommy, I poopied" as he stared at his poop filled hands! Thank goodness Anthony was home and could come get him so I could finish nursing Colt. I can only imagine what the child is going to do to me when Anthony goes back to work!

This was the night that Colt "pooped on Levi" and Levi thought it was hilarious!

This is Colt's hospital picture...taken when he was 2 days old!

Happy Mother's Day to all the mom's who are reading this! And a special Happy Mother's Day to my mom who is the greatest mom a girl could have!

More of Baby Colt!

It's amazing that Levi and Colt are brothers, because they are complete opposites so far! Levi was a very high matienence baby who cried all the time and ate all the time and kept us up all night long. Colt is very layed back, loves to sleep, is a great eater (and very quick eater which makes it nice for me!) and he, for the most part, sleeps great at night. He will go for a 4-5 hour stretch and another 3 1/2- 4 hour stretch at night. Levi didn't sleep for 4 hours straight until he was about 7 or 8 months old, so it's a definite blessing!

I caught him smiling (right in the middle of a poop!)

Levi has been showing more and more interest with Colt. He has asked me a lot in the last few days to hold him. The other night he was holding him and Colt pooped in his diaper as Levi was holding him. Levi thought it was the funniest thing in the world to have Colt "poop on him". He kept telling us, "Colt pooped on me!!!!" I have some good pictures of the 2 of them, so I will try and download those here soon and get them on here!

Also, yesterday, Levi informed us that we are allowed to keep Colt now. Out of the blue, he told Anthony and me, "We're gonna keep him" I'm glad he's finally realized that...guess it only took 11 days after Colt was born!
