Legends Game!

A freind of ours is the manager of sales for the Minor League Baseball team, the Lexington Legends, and he got us free seats for tonights ball game, so tonight, all 3 of us went! It was a bonus that tonight was 25 cent hotdog night!!! Between the 3 of us, we ate 8 hotdogs...Anthony had 5 and between Levi and me, we had 3! What a great deal :) We talked up the game to Levi all day long and got him super pumped up for it! He wore his Legends hat, that Justin also gave us, through-out the day and played with his baseball a lot during the day too.

This is Levi wearing his hat before it was even time to get ready!

Is it time yet Mom?!

...I promise I'll be real good.....

...PULEEEZE tell me it's time....

...this is killing me!!!

Okay...I got my clothes changed and my shoes on...LETS GO!

I'm happy now!

One last picture before we go!

BASEBALL!!!! Levi talked about his baseball the WHOLE way there! It was precious :)

At the ball park! They had a kiddie land area with stuff to climb on, so we hit that up before the game started!

It was cute...a few times when the pitcher would throw a strike....Levi would yell "MISS!!!" or "MISSED IT" which was great when it was the opposing team..but when it was the Legends striking out...that was a problem!

Watching from daddy's lap. Everytime the crowd cheered, he would clap his hands too! However, its a good thing we had hotdogs, fruitsnacks and suckers to keep him occupied, because he did have a hard time sitting still.

MMMMM! Hotdogs! And they always taste better when they only cost a quarter!

This is my favorite picture of Levi from today. It really was such a treat for Anthony and I to see the excitment on his face through-out the whole day today when we talked about baseball. I'll never forget the car ride going to the ball park and hearing him squeal with delight about how excited he was! And even though we only made it to the 4th inning, we still had a wonderful time. You know your child is worn out, when on the whole car ride home, he's saying NAP, NAP, NAP!! Once we got home, he got his bath....didn't even want his milk and he went STRAIGHT to bed! Thank you Levi for a fun night...life can sometimes be so much work with having a child...stressful too at times...but it is so much more fun and enjoyable doing things together as a family like we did tonight!
